| Last night, I dreamt of San Pedro.
Except replace "San Pedro" with "Oz" and you'll find me wishing I was freezing and surrounded by nothingness.
I had the best run today, I'm still so happy from it that I can't really work. Thankfully, not much is due tomorrow and I'm allowed to be a little lazy. Also discovered Honest Tea today, which is amazing. It's only very slightly sweet and makes me feel like I'm re-adjusting my tongue's sugar thresholds.
I'm also looking to buy some new Montrail shoes and a lighter daypack, and have just ordered a new pair of chucks. Because buying gear makes me so excited, I need to get a fucking job.

| I really have an awful memory and should start writing things down more. I forget to do that too though :(. Anyhow, all moved in, and classes have started. School is back in the swing of things and it's been great. It's too bad it's all going so fast.

| I'm so sleepy and lazy! WHY? During the school year I can never sleep past 9 hours even if I have the opportunity. The last week I have literally been spending 12-14 hours asleep everyday!
The only thing I can think of that will justify this is the supposedly fake "sleep deficit." Boo, sleep should be like currency.
My brother says that I should adopt Obama's oh-so-threatening "terrorist fist jab" as my daily greeting. Somehow I don't think I am cool enough to pull that off, and my parents+their friends would be VERY confused.
I also got my XSi two weeks ago, and my overprotective mothering has waned enough (and the uv lens has arrived) to let me venture outside with it. Sadly, it's on automatic focusing still, and I have to admit I don't know what the hell I'm doing. The manual will be read when I reach the point of desperation. Until then, 200+ pictures of my brother and 100+ of the weeds masquerading as flowers surrounding the front door.

| I just bought a moleskin! And I did so with the idea that maybe it would provide me inspiration and motivation, meaning that I've definitely succumbed to their marketing schemes.
I've also sat here for the past FIVE HOURS editing details of all my music because I just got my ipod in the mail today, and the different artist name spellings/album spellings/unknown albums etcetc bothered me. Even after a year of college, apparently I still don't have great time management skills, but my music library is uber neat now.

| Home, finally. Unfortunately, arriving home was a long ordeal involving missing flights and hanging around Newark for 6 hours, a further delayed flight, and arriving home grumpy and sick. The last few days have been a blur of sad news, being sick, and unpacking/chores at home.
The next few weeks will be just as hectic, since there's a monstrous laundry list of things I must finish before leaving, errands to run, things to buy, classes to take, things to take care of, and I must do it all basically sans car. Lots of efficient planning and walking/biking to look forward to.
All in all though, I'm excited and thankful to be home. Viva el verano :)
